The onslaught begins.
“Another land, another people, another war and always the same Death.”
After the first turn of war the expectations for German troops were not very good, with minimal advances in the north and south fronts. Russians felt back with order and scarce casualties.

Awakening the giant: No Tora Tora Tora. Jul/Ago 1942[:(]
In far east, Japan Empire declares war to western allies. There is no Pearl Harbor attack because it´s too late to surprise USA fleet (The main USA task force were relocated to New Zealand ready to counterattack, so it was very risky to attack Hawai).
Next Pictures show the start positions of the rival forces.
In China, Japan kept fall back to the coasts.

Here you can see the "reserve" carriers. I obsessed with built all of them but I "forgot" about planes. It was a bad mistake in production planning. [:@]

Last turns until the end of 1942.
European Front:
With a lot of fortune for the Axis Side and desperation for the allies side, the summer was very looong and winter was not coming. German armies advanced not very fast but firmly into the Russian steppes causing a lot of casualties. Specially bloody was nov / dec. In these turn, my pyrric victory became to be a really successful blitzkrieg notwithstanding, the soviets kept the line and not were defeated.
By other way, in secondary fronts:
Italy conquered Sudan and Arabia marching to Aden.
In the negative side the soviets conquered Persia and took positions in the borders of Irak. My logistic problems in Middle Orient were driving, my HQ, very nervous.
Next pictures show the situation at the end of the year.
Aden, my forces were too weak to take it and we must to put on defensive positions. nov/dec 1942

Here the losses in last turn of 1942, a severe damage to URSS chances.
The axis heavy air losses were the expensive cost to try to domain the sea zones around Arabia.

Last turns until the end of 1942.
Asian Front:
The war in Asia began bad and the things for Japan were getting worse and worse.
I couldn´t take Batavia nor Rabaul. My only success was in the Philipines. And in China, Japan was badly defeated.
And the Americans stroke strong very soon taking the Marshalls and Eniwetok, reinforcing Rabaul and with their fleet intact. In only three turns, Japan was clearly on defensive.
In this dark hour, Tojo and I were thinking that we will out of the war in 1943.
My rival was enjoying in the end and for first time from the beginning of the game.
Here some pictures of the Asian Front.
Batavia resistance! We captured the oil in the Islands but we couldn´t conquer the capital.
