hey guys, I wanted to know, can i clear saves? im getting very filled up, can I delete saves?
Not from within the game. Use Windows Explorer to go to the Matrix Games/War in the Pacific etc. directory and then the Save Game folder. The numbering of the saved games corresponds with the list in-game from the "Load Saved Game" screen.ORIGINAL: avers246

hey guys, I have the game and have been playing for a while, but I do have some questions, I noticed that some air squadrons can't be put on board ships and a lot of air squadrons can't be transferred toa different air force, like the air squadrons on the west coast, I can't transfer to Hawaii because there permanently set to IV fighter command, why can't they be put on ships or transferred to Hawaii or other air forces? Is it possible to send supplies to bases via land routes, if so, how? Finally, when I go into the base screen, there is the list showing the fuel and supplies required for the base, but next to that info, there is a yellow "no" and if I click that it switches to "yes", what does that mean?

That is what happens when you don't pay attention to the information which is presented to you.
1. The air unit screen shows the maximum range of the aircraft. This info is also found in various other locations.
2. The distance between the current airfield and the new airfield is shown on the transfer screen. This info is also obtainable by other means.
3. When maximum range of aircraft is less than distance between the two airfields, the transfer screen will indicate that the unit is railroaded to its new airfield. The travel time is also shown in the transfer screen.
4. Air units travelling by railroad are found in the air unit reinforcement screen. Travel time is also shown here.
This is covered on pages 146-147 of the manual.
