Question: If supply could be traced through Denmark and Sweden (for whatever reason) would the following apply and allow Mannerheim to be in supply by tracing rail all the way to Berlin across the Malmo - Copenhagen strait?

Railway supply paths
A hex a railway supply path enters, by moving along a railway or road, does not count against the 4 hex limit. A hex it enters across a straits hexside also does not count against the limit, so long as the hexes on either side of the straits are railway hexes.

Or do people think this only applies when the rail symbol actually connects across the straight as occurs in the rest of Denmark and Kerch?

Yes, it appies, since there is a railway in both Malmö and Copenhagen. There doesn't need to be a continuing railroad between Berlin and Mannerheim...

The fact that there is no railway connexxion between the two cities effects the railmovement phase (or the movement phase if you use the railmovement optional rule). You can rail only one unit across the strait between Malmö to Berlin and an unlimited number from Copenhagen to Berlin depending on action limits, of course).

I could have sworn there was a rule in WiF that rail moves and RR supply cannot cross more than one straits hexside, buy maybe that's a "ghost of WiF past" or I'm confusing that with railing resources to factories...

Anyway - looked and searched, but didn't find...

I looked and searched for the same rule when this question originated. Must be a "ghost of WiF past". [:D]

RAC - Page 65 - Only 1 unit a side can rail move across each straits hexside in a turn.
RAC - Page 100 - Each resource cannot cross more than 1 straits hexside.

Cannot see a restriction on RR supply.

RAC - Page 65 - Only 1 unit a side can rail move across each straits hexside in a turn.
That means the same unit can rail across an infinite number of straits hexsides in a turn. (But then no other unit could.)

Correct - nothing to say it cannot cross more than one.
