I watch some for very personal reasons.

One individual that I watch, simply because the person is not just a YouTuber ie he's an offline person of note and a published author too, is Aron Ra, and he's PRECISELY why I couldn't much care any less what your religious beliefs might be. I'm an atheist like him. There's a lot of weird ideas out there about what atheism is of course. Search his name, add 'biblical family values' and I can assure you, you will have quite the eye-opening. Or not if your mind is closed I suppose.

I routinely watch stuff like how to make knives out of the most improbable source materials. Science items. Stuff about tanks. And a lot of Trance music from people like Armin van Buuren. Or Kpop music.

maybe it's just because i'm old, but youtube seems to be full of kids who want 5 mins of fame, and tbh a job, seems like anyone can do it, but do it well is another story, so i'd have to say i follow none
