Me too. I made the mistake of showing my wife the Yamato pics, and told her I wanted to do that when I retire... now I think she will make sure I keep working until I'm 100 [:D]

I am actually not very happy with them, the strips were inconsistent in width
as the original supplier of the timber ran out

grrrr

I work 5 am to 6 pm days, even later!
So really it was 8 years of weekends and Christmas breaks

But she kept me sane.........

Kirishima will be better, as I know what not to do now!

Looks good, well done. But looking at post #45 those are some pretty big "trees" and rocks in the background compared to the size of the Yamato. [;)] Maybe just a little bit more ballast up forward.
