You really dont want to know just how many tanks I killed this turn. Sereously. (To tell you the truth I stopped counting halfway through the turn, so you can tell ME as you count during the replay). Suffice it to say that Russian armour was decimated by AA gun, FG,IG, 50mm mortar, Chi -ha and Ha-go main guns, and, wonder of wonders, one was killed by a lowly RIFLE!!:D (and not the AT kind either!).

But on the bright side, tanks were not the only thing to die. Cavalry and SNLF drove back Russian Engineers and recaptured some Southern V Hexes. 1rst reserve Ha-Go platton was ordered to counterattack in this sector this turn, So you sould be seeng them the next:) Japanese are amazingly tough:)

After lobbing more 150mm mortar shells into your cavalry I give you the turn:)

Yes, sorry for the delay....

I am being forced to withdraw to safety and await reinforcements. Some of my units are able to attack this trun and have forced 1 unit of cavalry to withdraw!

Lets see I kill more of your tanks Armoured Cars and Infantry. You finally seem to be running out of those **** tanks. Oh and you are less two ATGs.

Ach, reinforcements are showing up on his side - how can I stop the tide of tanks appraoching. IN the north I finally manage to destroy one of his AT rifle units - I am sure this one has accounted for a number of my tanks. In the center there are infantry duels at long range. The south no looks a lot less composed than it did. My units are being forced to retreat in the face of massed infantry/tank assault. Now I see why I should not have used all my artillery up in the first 5 turns.

Those are not reinforcements, they are reserves:) You will no doubt not be surprised to know that yet more thin/skinned rusian tanks and armoured cars were slaughtered. Some 61 t-35 Heavy tanks were made by the Soviet Union and at least 10 of them are now burning in the Far East:). Those of my men who are taking a break from tank hunting (mostly due to the fact that they are out of 50mm mortar rounds) spend their time chasing Russian COssacks and Engeneers. 150mm mortars once again bombard the milling russian masses to predictable effects.

On the upside one t-35 survived 12 50mm mortar hits, 8 Ha-go hits and multiple small arms fire:)

Some Hints: it would be a VERY good idea to cover my hidden Field and Infantry guns as well as those forts with smoke from your arty batteries.
I would also suggest that leaing a thin skinned vechicle in clear field of fire of 6 50mm armed infantry squads is also a bad idea. Smoke is the suggested solution as well. With 4 122mm batteries you should have plenty of smoke.n Just some hints for when your AUX reinforcements arrive.

Will make my move ASAP - as for smoke yeah I know about smoke but am having problems getting my arty to deliver it!!!!

ooohhhhhhhhhh smoke may appear!!!! finally got hold of my battery commander! In the north I try to push on but get nowhere - in fact that is the same for all over the map!

In the South an Immobilised chi-ha regains mobility and joins in the counterattack. Two tanks (a t-35 and some 37mm armed thing) are destroyed. Multiple cavalry, Infantry and MC squads are killed or pushed back. I have noticed that the type 6 lmg (issued to the ccavalry) is about twice as deadly as the type 96 (issued to the infantry). In the center you loose an ATG as my intrepid troops push forward. In the north you dont loose anything, but a devastating 150mm mortar barrage is plotted. You should see the results your turn:) Russian tankers hate 150mm - they tend to abandon their tanks when such shells start landing.

Oh most of my FG and IG are out of both ap and HE ammo and are being trucked to ammo dumps for reload. Taking their place are rear area triple 20mm AAA. Just what the doctor ordered against your infantry hordes:)

Lots of troops retreating or standing there like lemons. IN the north I manage to push forward 1 hex, in the center I force 1 cavalry unit to retire. In the south I managed nothing whatsoever.

I drive back your pityful guys on all sections of the front, slaughtering all in my wake. On the downside I found out that two platoons worth of infantry had so much fun killing soviets that they are out of rifle ammo. Second line platoons are taking their place and they are being trucked to an ammo dump. Soviet Reinforcements have been spotted and own reserves called in.

I got a Chi-Ha company, a Cavalry Company, and some wimpy Planes with the 7.6mm machine gun. I forgot what the rules about planes were, so if you dont want them I wont use em (only cost 50 points so no big deal).

think the plane rule was 2 air units - but as yours did nowt last time will let you off - you will beat me with or without them anyway!!!

This turn I manage to do nothing. My forces in the center seem to be about to crumble. I am hoping the arrival of reinforcements will strengthen their resolve. My fresh troops are sent straight onto the offensive taking out 2 of the imperialist tanks. In the south I need a miracle - my forces are being badly mauled my a combination of tanks, infantry, cavalry and those **** naval guns.

Lets see. a couple more of your tanks bite the dust. Mainly from infanry assualts. My reinforcements are still hurrying to the front. And Ammo-less but still full strength Infantry is still being trucked to the ammo depots

Not a lot happened this turn. The north is bogged down. I am hoping some miraculous shooring by the 150 mm artillery may dislodge him! In the center I manage to destroy 2 tanks and pin some infantry. In the south I have no units!!!
