I think my first game was Populous. Followed in very quick succession by a bunch of others such as Silent Service 2.

War in Russia (1984 version) by Grigsby

Kamfgruppe by Grigsby

Chris Crawford's game about the cold war, can't remember the title. You spent funds either supporting or fighting insurgent groups in minor nations around the globe.

I guess it's possible I bought them all at once (though not likely as I was broke in those days), it's just so long ago I can no longer recall specific details enough to say for sure which was my first game on the PC.

Balance of Power and Balance of Power 1990. The second had many more countries with their own agendas.

Believe this was my first pc game, then later War in the Pacific.

Wargame Construction Set by SSI for Commodore 64 is the only one I can remember for certain. 1986. I had a Vic20 before that but I don't remember any of the titles.

That screen was pure gaming magic in the mid-80's...[:)]

If you don't count my Intellivision gaming console with B-17 Bomber 1982,then it was F-15 Strike Eagle 1985 by MicroProse.
