Army Group B
18th Army– trying to roll up the northern flank towards Antwerp.
6th Army – keeps bashing away at the Belgium frontline. This is like “chipping ice” one little shard at a time.
1st Kav. /18th Army – moving this division south into Army Group A operating area to help clean up enemy remnants.

Army Group A – PZDs are pushing hard to the north along three main prongs. British units are moving in to block the advance. Lead units are now about 15 km from Lille.
6th Army – PZDs and IDs are trying to force their way through the frontline. This is a slugfest is wearing down the Panzer units.

Army Group A – Southern flank of the PZGRP Kleist advance is shaping up nicely. However, the allies are moving units in I suspect as defense against advancement on Paris (red arrows).

The two highlighted (red arrows) results are interesting.
The top result opened the door to Lille the PZGRP Kleist.
The lower result is an interesting outcome. As you can see it was an AR of 325 (previous post) with Axis panzer against Allied artillery. This is actually the second time (I added more units) I have tried to take these guys out. Tough units that did substantial damage (11%) to my units. You see the tanks took a pretty good beating.

18th Army– Infantry units are in process of enveloping Antwerp (yellow arrow). Also by passing and enveloping units (red arrow) trying to slow down Axis push toward Antwerp.

PZGRP Kleist – Forward unit have taken Lille. Need to hold on and maintain supply corridor.
4th Army & 6th Army – Enveloping large groups of Allied units (red arrows).

May 21, 1940 (T14)

High level look at start of turn 14.

Army Group A – Panzer units capture Lille which results in the Allied replacements are halved and Allied supplies are reduced by 10.

Noted: during the Allied turn there was movement of French units from the frontline back to Paris. There was also movement of British units back to the coast.

High level look at start of turn 15.
Army Group A & B –Units are fighting to capture more Belgium.
As noted in the news summary Belgium Surrender variables are stacking up. 15 have been acquired and 25 are needed.
Noted: As what occurred in turn 14, during the Allied turn there was movement of French units from the frontline back to Paris.

Army Group A – the southern flank was tested by the allies at several locations along both the 12th Army and 15th Army front (notice red arrows).

6th Army– Managed to get several divisions past Antwerp and behind the Belgium front (yellow circle). During the Allied turn, enemy units cut off the supply corridor(red arrow). Now these units are out of supply.
4th Army and 6th Army – will continue to destroy pockets of the enemy caught behind the lines.
PZGRP Kleist – Move Panzers into blocking position
4th Army PZD – drive on Brussels.

May 22, 1940 (T15) – Round 1

Attacks all around Brussels – 43 in all. Airfield attacks by the Air units, 4th Army reducing the pockets of trapped enemy units, 6th Army pushing hard towards Brussels from the north and from the east. PZGRP Kleist securing position while the 12th Army units start to show up to provide support.

PZGRP Kleist – Moved Panzers into blocking position

4th Army PZD – drive on Brussels. They can taste the waffles – assuming any restaurants survive the bombing.

4th Army – still cleaning of enemy pockets.

6th Army – driving towards Brussels from the north and east.
