Here is the push, sort of, towards Tobruk

Things are looking good.

Having taken a long look, here is my plan for the day.

The 2nd SA Div will push toward Bardia to secure it. The two brigades in the North from the 4th IN Div will start working northwards to move clear the German units south of Bardia and head along the Via Balbia. The 2nd NZ Div will push north and then pivot westward along the inland road.

XXX Corps will hold in place - with a couple of light attacks near Sidi Rezegh to keep Rommel guessing.

Tobruk will stay in place.

I'm going to bring the Army Artillery units into the area behind the 7th Armd to help with future moves towards Sidi Rezegh and Bir el Gubi.

Another morning has broken and the Tobruk Garrison is getting restless...

I managed to get another day in this morning...

The Operation is almost complete.

It is almost over, we have almost linked up along the coast

Game over

I enjoyed this game. I like having multiple options for how to move forward. The scenario gives you that. I think that Option 2 - having XXX Corps drive on Bardia - would have worked.

I think that I will stick to the desert for the next one, but this time as El Alemain
