RIP and Vale Jim Cobb. - I only know him from his reviews, they were excellent and often i would check to see if it was by Cobb before i even read it so i would know it would be worth reading

Sorry to hear that the flu took you and your wife in such an untimely manner. I enjoyed your articles and reviews, and the pleasure I found in them remains for me.

Like many on here, Jim Cobb was influential in my early days of gaming (the late '70s) in magazines such as The Wargamer and Strategy & Tactics, with insightful reviews and articles on all things strategy gaming.
