Thanks for the comments! It seems that your question has turned into "the latest place to air and vent old and new animosities." [8|]

Sorry that this has become one of your first impressions of our AE community. It is a minority here, thankfully.

WingCmdr,

Your friends must all be 12 years old because you act just like 'em. Either straighten yourself out, or go to Twitter. You'll fit right in there.

At the rate you're going...

NO!!

This is a not so thinly veiled personal threat!

A simple explanation would have sufficed. Thanks for nothing and the insulting replies.

You have much to learn about Gorns. His response/puns may have sounded personal and insulting, but I can assure you they were not intended to be that way. Its just a Gorn thing.[;)]

It is pilot training. Max out your training air squadrons in USA, Canada, Aden (?) etc, and put them all on Train 100%.

Remember to set all training units to range=0. If not they will build fatigue in both pilots and planes, leading to losses.
If India and/or Australia or New Zealand don't get the needed fuel, their factories WILL STOP producing planes, weapons etc.

This is false. While those factories will stop producing supply in their areas they will in fact still produce weapons and planes. Why? Because these are produced using HI (heavy industry) points and those are a 'universal' input.

But it brings up a good point. I was unable to delete a thread as a thread starter. Is that an administrator
only privelage, just like closing a thread?

Yes to both.

And Moderators lock threads, they don't delete them to the best of my knowledge.

They also choose to lock threads based on their own assessment, not the demands of any given poster.

This thread is most likely headed for a lock.

And you completely misinterpreted Korvar's 'tongue-in-cheek' reference to a the 'banhammer'.

Since only a Moderator can ban, it was anything BUT a personal threat.

It was an attempt at prophesy.

A pretty good one in my book if you keep up your antagonistic antics.

With that comment I'm taking AW1 Steve's advice and checking out from this thread.

Folks,
I think it's safe to say I learned my lesson on posting a dumb question about WITP AE. I regret doing it. And I'd rather not have this turn out to be a verbal brawl. So let's call a truce and I'll move on. I do appreciate the helpful comments. Thx

The fault is not yours, but another individual. And your question wasn't dumb, just somewhat uninformed.[:D]

So please stick around and we will eventually (with your help) get you to where you'd like to be.

Well maybe, we'll see.[:D]

One thing I can tell you is that a lot of what is supposed to be humor here is very tongue-in-cheek.[8|]

I did not want to get into trouble for referring to a he/she if it was neither and the only other pronoun that I could think of was it.

You could have used LGTBQ.

D'oh, did I just say that out loud.

I think this one has run its course. I'm sorry to the new player who got a less that helpful answer.

I'm locking this one. If you think it shouldn't be locked, PM me and make your case and I might reconsider...
