"Be yourself. Follow your instincts. Success depends, at least in part, on the ability to "carry it off."

Control your time. If you're working off your in-box, you're working off the priorities of others. Be sure the staff is working on what you move to them from the President, or the President will be reacting, not leading. The Polish Army is leading the way in modernization. From results in Czechoslovakia we have discovered the horse and tank are a wonderful combination.
Poland will be raising several additional cavalry brigades. Each will have a full platoon of tanks assigned."

With our outstanding victory over the pig-dogs, we are ready to take our place as one of the premier military countries in the world. I feel we are ready to be named a Superpower. We are about to turn our eye to our Polish Enemies. They will immediately allow Sausage Plant Inspectors into their country, or face our wrath. They may be beaten with shoes.

As a modern SuperPower, Czechoslovakia needs Pilsner Beer. We announce today that the baby forumula factory will be converted to a Pilsner Beer Works. The conversion should take only a week.

The celebration party at the GMPBW was a huge success! The Czechoslovakian Information Minister is unavailable for comment today, due to excessive celebration.

Hi, Thanks Goblin. Now about this next battle. I know you are pressed for time so I will make the assault (since defense does not require as much time.
I like the really large maps. But I'll let you pick map size and points. Also I'd allow a 3 to 2 air section (3 Polish 2 Czech)
You can have mines and everything. You'd have to spend some time deploying but the actual game would not require much time.

My starting bid is 5.5k Poles assault 3.2k Czechs super large map 10 percent OB arty, 5 percent (160 points) mines (deployed at start engineers could place more) 30-35 turns

And we just keep posting in this thread since the battle is a continuation of the "Beer" war

My password was "river"

(Goblin outscored me even though it was a points per turn game and I occupied all the VH by turn 3. I was doing well untill I left the hills to "pursue' then the Czech AT rifles massacured my armor)

Yeah, those Czech infantry squads that carry the Solothurn AT rifle really helped alot, especially because I bought only 6 tanks. Your usual style against me has involved very few tanks, so I did like-wise.

I hate large maps. If it is more than one 'page', it is horrible. Partially because of the poor scrolling and mini-map ability of the game. Also, defending a big map is just too much of a headache (for me anyways). Let me think on it some, and maybe investigate a new country? Maybe the newest target on your war against Pilsner...
