Western Europe can no longer be left undefended, a significant portion of our forces in the East are going to have to be redirected to the Western Front. The Allies have captured two ports, and things could escalate quickly if I try to only contain the Netherlands invasion force.

Rommel has completely run out of supplies in Egypt (0 supply this turn).

Turkey could enter the war at any moment and the Axis have no capability to launch an offensive in the region.

The situation along the Eastern Front is dire our forward defensive lines at Moscow are while holding are under constant attack and the Soviets are successfully outflanking Army Group Center and Smolensk could soon fall due to poor supply which will open up fully a new front in the East.
The advance on Voronezh has been met with successful Soviet counter attacks and our limited successes along the Southern Don River has come at the cost of heavy losses.
Forces have to be diverted to Western Europe and it will be impossible to keep up our offensive capabilities in the South afterwards. Retreat is on the table, but difficult to commit to.

The Axis are now dwarfed in size by the combined economic power of the Allies.

In Western Europe Germany quickly advances on the limited Allied invasion through the Netherlands. This does not appear to be the "Big One" quiet yet.

Germany is finally admitting to be on the defensive in Russia. The Moscow front remains the most vulnerable, our positions in the South are formidable.
This turn Turkey prepares for war, and yet another front opens. Rommel's Tanks were also destroyed in Egypt, and with that the offensive capability of the DAK is shattered, it is unlikely reinforcements will be sent to North Africa at any remaining stage of the war.

Smolensk has been recaptured by the Soviets, the entirety of Army Group Center is at risk of being cut off. High Command is finally giving the order to retreat from the Moscow front, one half which will be a fighting retreat towards Kursk and the remainder sent to form defensive positions near Minsk which is almost undefended.

Army Group South retreats from Moscow and we reinforce our positions just west of Smolensk behind the river lines. Soviet Tanks are once again threatening Kursk. Central Russia has the potential to be highly contested in the coming turns but with little economic value the Axis will not hesitate to retreat to reduce losses.

The Netherlands is once again occupied by Germany after defeating the attempted Allied invasion of mainland Europe, a few ancillary units remain cut off and will be destroyed.

Fall weather begins on the Eastern Front, the Soviets this year have reclaimed a lot of territory and the Axis are struggling to maintain the defensive lines. I am hoping to restrengthen the Luftwaffe back to full strength for the beginning of 1944, the air force was used sparingly in 1943 due to heavy damage, mostly in areas which the Red Army lacked fighter coverage.

The Axis' have not been respecting Turkish entry into the war, having sent only a token defense to choke the Turkish straits, however a Turkish Tank Corps is likely strong enough to break through our defense at Gallipoli. High Command is considering if an invasion into Turkey as a secondary route to the Iraqi and Caucasus oil fields is justifiable as a next move, and could be a turning point in a war that we are currently losing.

The situation continues to worsen on the Eastern Front as Axis occupied Kharkov has become a front line city and further north of the city our defensive positions have been shattered and a number of Axis HQ vulnerable to attack. If Kharkov falls our main defensive line across the Donets River which runs from Rostov to Kharkov could be jeopardized.
Their is no good news on any front at the moment.

Exciting AAR. Really hope you’ll let this one play out even if it ends in the ruins of Berlin.

Thanks, I'll be sure to play it through to the end, the previous AAR just became an Allied beating which only required an eventual paratroop into London is why it ended a bit early.
