Advance continues on the main front. It is a bit slow going I feel but I dont see all that much reserve units behind the front so hopefully it will get easier soon.

June 20 1941

Chaotic situation in Finland continues. German corps arrive to help out a little.

On the mainfront my focus will be mostly Moscow and try to connect with army Group Persia. I dont care all that much for Leningrad this game. Moscow looks hopeful. Not that much defense for the moment and quite a bit of good weather left.

In the South advance continues. Terrain is bad in the Caucasus for sure [:)].
But I hope all oil fields will be mine eventually which I think puts the Soviets on 15 oil per turn that cant be good for them.

July 4 1941

Fighting still goes on in Finland. Some Finnish units in trouble very abnnoying. An ITalian corps show up as well in support.

Soviet army down to 1700 with hopefully 6 turns of summer left feels pretty good but we will see [:)].

Advancing towards Leningrad but with only one arm corps will be hard to get.

Defense around Moscow dont look too impressive I think I have a good chance to get it.

In the south manage to cross the Dniepr barely. My infantry is lagging have had quite a hard time getting rid of the Soviet inf corps. There doesnt seem to much reserves though so if the infantry can catch up with the soviet line Soviet casualties should go up.

In the caucasus I catch 2 inf corps one surrender the other one will be gone next turn I hope. Grozny falls.

July 18 1941

In Finland the situation stabilises a bit.

In the cental part I manage to pull off a historical Kiev pocket kind of. 5 mech units therein so would be very nice if it holds.

In the South Axis cross the Terek river aiming for Maikop.

More British arrive in Libya. I dont care that much about North Africa but I will not give it away for free and hope to hold some of it until 1942 at least.

August 1 1941

In Finland I am getting ready to try and push back the Soviets a bit.

Central front I start to liquidate the pocket. I got rid of the HQ with Konev commanding so thats nice.

In the south advance continues on a precarious supply line.

August 15 1941

In Finland start to push back the Soviets a bit but large Finnish casualties taken. My paratrooper detected Leningrad port empty and jumped so that was a nice catch. South of Leningrad a small breakthrough and Novgorod is taken and I cross the Volkhov river.

Cental front last pocketed units are eliminated. Even though my infantry again pretty far from the front I start attacking in front of Moscow with some hope to take it next turn.

And in the south Soviets retreat and I cautiously follow.

Lots of Axis units out of supply because of partisans but Italian armour rolls into Maikop and all the oil in the caucasus in Axis hands. One objective for the year accomplished. I doubt 2nd objective meeting up with AG south will happen this year anyway.

In the centre Moscow falls so 3rd objective done.
