smells a bit like a bug, without all 3 partial units attached to the same parent unit a convert option should not be presented to the player

The bad news is that won't work, but the good news is that at least I can successfully diagnose the problem.

In order for you to convert a multi-purpose unit from support to on-map, 1) it must be a regiment or brigade-sized unit; and 2) all three battalions of that unit must be assigned together to the same division (or HQ).

The problem here is that you only have one of the three battalions of 113th US Cavalry Group assigned to 3rd US AD.

Thank you both.

I will try attaching all three battalions next time!

First I wanted to let you know that I was able to convert three battalions to a division and move it one more hex :) Thank you

Now I bombed Hamburg the other day and see the numbers in the recon differs:

These two screenshots are taken in the same turn. If I read the numbers correct I added 31% damage to the manpower in Hamburg, however, when looking at the factory recon I see only 10% damage. 31% of 34 (factory size) is about 10,5. But if this is the correct way of calculating the damage, 10% should only be 10? (Without the %?) Meaning I did 31% damage and 10 out of the 34 manpower factory is damaged, not 10% of it?

What do you think?

The fog of war lies to you. Deliberately. Trust your recon more than the roll up, but really don't trust anything too much.

I see what you mean. I would just imagine that the roll up and recon would coinside more, as best assesment of damage done should be the goal.
But I guess I could also see it like the round up is what damage the bomber aircrews think they did, while the recon is the damage the recon planes that flew the next day saw?

It is one of those quirks - the roll up draws from/reports the "day of" BDA for a given strike. When your planes go over three days later, the program has moved on...but you can still see the real result. It would certainly be better if you got the most accurate assessment, but cest la vie.

And I like it :) I'm sure recon and intel could be very difficult to get accurate!
