Surprisingly easy to get SSG's 'Decisive Battles Civil War' running using DOSBox.

No that's not it. Graphics were much better. The ones I'm talking about used the rectangular icons for units on the map. Actually now that I think of it they were on my Commodore 64/ SX64. The SX64 was 'luggable' version of the Commodore. May have been published by SSI?
