Until this [file size] issue is fixed, I recommend using software like Gimp or Paint.net, which allow you to not only resize a picture, but also set a custom compression for jpegs :
P.S.: Outside image hosts tend to die at a different time than the forums, which can become very annoying when whole AARs or tutorials are suddenly rendered useless without their pictures.
P.P.S : Yes, I know how ironic it is that I'm using an outside picture myself.
