Well, I have done it again. I rescued a barely four week old kitten000000 (who is trying to help meeee type) who is just cute as all get out. Now all I have to do is convince Gilligan (my 8 year old Tom) who was also rescued, hence the name, that she needs a home too. OY! Taking care of a kitten is also a time commitment. Hope the Good Lord wants to keep me around for a while. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, EGAD!

Thanks all. I will probably give the scenarios a try first, but as I am already on India on the setup for the campaign game I might as well finish setting it up:) A little more than 1600 lines to go!

You are where I was early March on my current game. I had two previous false starts, the first because did not have the game updated and configured correctly to run on a modern PC. The other in hindsight I should have continued. I am in mid-Sept 1942 now in the current game. Turns took me hours at first, it was like that the first month. Now a turn takes me 15 min to an hour. I am a retired widower so the only thing I have to do is mow my lawn once a week and throw some food in the microwave every once in a while so I don't starve. I have conservatively spent 40 hours on this game this week. I want my life back but it's that addicting. I am still a complete beginner at this game, but I am finding it to be one of the deepest games I ever played. The minutia can become fascinating and every bit I have learned so far makes a difference. But you can do as little as 15 min to an hour a day if you have the self control I obviously do not have.

In 2018 I was playing against the AI for about 8 month IRL. When I quit I promised myself that I will not play this game again until I am retired in about 25 years. But here I am again. [8D]
