In November, I set out to write three articles each both for the scenario content in the first release, as well as for the new Event Engine features available in the game.

Who'd have believed here we are, finally, with just a few days before the game's out!

With that, here's the third and final article on scenario content included in the game:

[*] The Vietnam War in CS: Vietnam 1.0

As all the scenarios are now listed in the game mamnual available for download, I did this a bit differently, with introducing one scenario from each Vietnam War year covered here.

And what better scenario to start than the one which started it all: The First Battle!

Let's hope Jason co ordinates the ARVN better than General Harkin and Colonel John Paul Vann managed historically or it won't be pretty [:(]

Glad to see you are getting into character already Jason[:)]

Many ARVN commanders were similarly inspirational and confident in their units abilities ......

Realistic expectations... and, I'm certainly not a pro at the game. *laughs*

I'm not sure where to place this but my question is......the game is supposed to be 1948 thru 1979 but the scenario list only goes thru 1967. Is this to be added on later or am I missing something?
I was there is 1969 and am looking for scenarios in that year as well as Hue.

We already have a whack load of Tet scenarios, they just aren't scripted, it takes a lot of time to do so, but they are on the hit list of what to do next.

Plus beyond! So many fascinating battles after Tet to do!
