but for a one final surprise! I receive a report that due to losses caused for 2nd/7th Cav, I receive a 200 Event Point Award. That moves me and my brave troopers to Minor Win category!

Either way this is a real meatgrinder of a scenario...tough for both sides it seems.

^ US side with first phase of last turn, me with second phase, where I actually went over the threashold, as I found out looking at things!

Once John looks at the finished battle I sent to him it will be there.

I felt kind of robbed at the end, but it is what it is I guess.

It was an interesting battle. Intense is a good word for it.[;)]

This is often the tactical question for the side who goes first; do you break out from contact for the last turn, can you break out, even. Do you fire, do you save a plenty of op fire for any last turn desperate attempts by oppo?

We have discovered a messaging flaw in the scenario script. This will be fixed in 1.01 (and thereafter).

^PAVN not getting a pat in the back if they down a helicopter, to be precise. They do get the EP award, so not a showstopper.

It is a good practice to check Victory Dialog and both sides EP status at beginning of each turn anyway, to stay alert if something's going on under the radar...

^Or maybe not, if you want to preserve truly Enhanced Fog of War. [8|]
