11th March

More raids in Burma - but allies must be prepping for something. My Tankers depart Rangoon after unloading , STF stands guard, small supply convoy arrives in the next couple of days.

Lots of allied subs maybe 10? appeared in DEI and 3 or 4 off coast near Tokyo - sank 4 large freighters in the last few days.

In the meantime here are my top pilots.

"well I must admit I'm having a lot of fun with this game it might be due to how well I'm doing but IDK I'm having lots of fun. on other notes, 2 new CVLs and 1 new Cv arrive within the next 30 days very exciting I should have a nice carrier fleet with hellcats for my next invasions in the next coming months. lots of new APAs, AKAs, LST, LCIs, and LS(L) are coming active my invasions should be a lot faster. I've also fixed my supply situation in Burma. I've made Ramree a bastion by buying out Akyab to a american base I was able to use all the pt boats the usa starts to get about late 42 I believe it's like 15 a month and I have lots in the pool so Burmas days are now numbered. "

New patch 1.7i should be ok in a couple of days just checking a couple od small things...

14-15th March 43 - allies land at Ponape.

Lets see if we can deny them this - we were well prepared if lacking a bit of supply.

Battle for Ponape continues - finally one of my subs gets lucky - I hope been let down by FOW many times this game.

23-26th March 43 -

Kavieng Falls

Heavy raids to Isolate Rangoon - opposition is getting more futile agaianst Spitfire MKVIII and P38G which are now available in large numbers.

26th March 43.

First raids out of Darwin... and where are all the Marine Divisions - getting worried about that.

March 30th 43

More surface action around Rangoon as allies intercept a fast TR TF.2 DD badly damaged but allies loose 1 DD and a French CA - finally taken out by a mini sub.

More bombing of Rangoon, supply now very low.

We prepare for another attack on Chansa in China.

4th April 43

Japanese LBA bag the BB Strasborg - escorting an Amph TF - and in addition badly damage 2 x APA the first time we have seen these ships in action unloading part of the 1st Marine Division.

7-10th April 43

Assault fails against Rangoon with heavy allied loss

Allies take Tarawa after a tough fight

Japanese LBA have some initial success at Panope again but the caught by allied CV cap with heavy loss.

Losses at Rangoon, Bombers also visit every day virtually.

Recent ship losses - allowing for FOW

Dean does like to leave his subs in the DEI shallow waters under a lot of detection. A lot of TRTF and tankers have to wind their way around, so losses have been slight, certainly not worth it for the allies at the moment.

15-17 April 43

More grinding at Ponape and Rangoon - also under constant bombardment - although 2 fast TR TF have got through recently.

Recent tanker losses on the rise

Note U boat successes - I put this down to radar which they have from 9/42.
The allies have more ASW as well as good patrol aircraft to counter the U Boats, which have restrictions from where they can operate and refuel until 1/44.

My losses have been mounting from undetected subs almost exclusively -

20-24TH April 43

First sweeps over Rabaul. Generally not successful but the 4E will pounce soon.
Another unsuccessful assault on Rangoon but our supply is out - we are planning a major attempt to re supply.

Allied subs seem to have retired
We suspect a build up at Darwin, an RO sub bags two small tankers in one day.

26Th April

Ponape falls - disaster.
allies switch target from Rangoon to my transport ships at Port Blair - getting ready for relief of Rangoon - 10+ lost, disaster.
Allies about to land at Manus. looking pretty bad but what is to be done.

New ships - so needed... first CV of 43 and Aso class CVL.
