With the assault on Singapore planned for the not-too-distant future, the bombing campaign began with night bombing of the airfield. Some Buffalo fighters were on CAP but downed no bombers; the bombs hit the ground but nothing of significance.
A shock attack at Wenchow reduced the Chinese forts to zero -
On the main road south of Sian Japanese reinforcements arrived to overstack the space and increase the nominal AV to a 1.81 advantage for the Empire. A deliberate attack will be ordered for tomorrow.

On the assumption that the Chinese disablements will not recover significantly in one day another shock attack will be ordered for tomorrow, hoping for a 2:1 result to capture the base. The Chinese counter battery fire confirmed the weakness of the defense following this attack -Ground combat at Wenchow (89,58)
