Patching ourselves the AI bugs. Sigh!
But thanks.

(1) Germany invaded Belgium and Belgium aligned to the CW. The Belgium RP in the Congo is now available to the CW.
(2) Currently I have CW production, including FIF, optimized to my taste. NOTE: I do have and want to maintain 3 "unused" CPs in the Bay of Biscay and 1 in the Red Sea.

(3) I set up a 4 CP chain to route the Belgian Congo Diamonds mine RP 127,52 -> Gulf of Guinea -> Cape Verde Basin -> Cape St. Vincent -> Bay of Biscay -> Glasgow, UK. This frees up an additional oil, that was being used for production, to be saved to the UK. Currently, only 1 of 11 UK oil points (owned & in trade) is being used for production. The rest are being saved.
(4) All looks great. All works like I want. So I save my game file and call it a night.
(5) Next morning (this morning) I load my game file and check CW production. This is what I see. On load up MWIF "reoptimizes" everything and gives my less than max CW production with an unused CP chain from the Caribbean to the UK.

(6) Luckily I've been here before with MWIF trying to help but screwing things up! The fix. Default the Belgian Congo RP to a UK factory (Glasgow is this example).

This is what I have been complaining of for ages. Not the only nation with bugs nor the only bug in that one, but the CW convoys in the Caribbean- Atlantic Ocean-West Europe coast are the ones that make me more irked, because of how stupid it behaves and how they reproduce each time.

I am getting the same errors.
Here, I want all the oil from the Carribean to travel to Great Britain via Carribean, East Coast, North Atlantic, Fearoles. But instead, the router sends them via the Central Atlantic, leaving the convoys in the East Coast unused, and bumping the two resources from the two Guyanas to use the Cape Verde Basin, bumping two of the resources from Africa / India / Australia to rot on the docks.
The instructions say I can right click and select my own paths, and the interface seems to comply, but when I click the recompute, the router takes precedence and leaves two or more resources to rot.
This bug crept in around version 2.something, and has been here ever since. It is getting worse, as I used to be able to manually route the resources and the router would respect my wishes. But now, I'm trying to guess the route the router would use and put my convoys there, to be bombed by the Axis. Frustrating.
Anyway, here's my save file. The CW convoy system in the Atlantic should be completely used all the way down to the Cape, with maybe one convoy left unused in the North Sea or Bay of Biscay. There'll be quite a few in the Indian ocean, as I've let the Persian oil through the Mediterranean.
