Turn 31 - January 6th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Another slow turn with weather affecting a few air strikes. We got some good strikes on Singapore and Bataan airfields once more preventing the allies from building forts. We captured a base in the South Pacific and landed at Moluccas.

Turn 32 - January 7th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Another slow turn with weather affecting about half a dozen air strikes. We got some good strikes on the Bataan airfields once more preventing the allies from building forts. We captured multiple bases including another resource base in Malaya.

Turn 33 - January 8th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather affects numerous air strikes limiting the action for the turn. No allied aircraft are found. An allied AVP pops up near Ternate and the chase is on !! We capture multiple bases including our first base in what I call Southern Burma.

Turn 34 - January 9th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather severly affects my air strikes limiting the action for the turn. We located an allied AVP and said hi in the IJN way. We landed at a few new bases and captured several, including the important airbase at Ambon !

Turn 35 - January 10th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather cleared up mostly allowing a lot of air strikes to hit their targets. We landed at a few more bases as well as capturing a few, including Malacca - which opens up the floodgates to Johore Bahru !!

Turn 36 - January 11th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather only affected a few air missions today. We captured several bases and continue our expansion in Burma, China and the South Pacific.

Turn 37 - January 12th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather was a minor inconvenience today allowing us to complete most of our air strikes - except in Luzon mostly. We landed at several more bases and captured half a dozen including Sinyang and Daik-u.

Turn 38 - January 13th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Our air strikes were combined this turn targetting a few places in China of interest. Our troops came ashore at a bunch of new bases this turn including Singkep and Palembang. We captured a pair of bases as well as Rangoon !!

Turn 39 - January 14th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather thwarted a lot of air strikes this turn, but the Imperial Juggernaut continued onward. We landed at a bunch of bases as well as captured eight bases. Our attack at Palembang is thwarted by those two Indian Brigades

Turn 40 - January 15th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather prevented the majority of my air strikes this turn. We landed troops at more bases and captured another handful including Luganville and Canton Island !!!

Turn 41 - January 16th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather prevented a lot of air strikes today. We continue to land troops at bases in the DEI and South Pacific as well as make headway in Burma and China - capturing the base at Nanyang and opening up the road to Sian.

Turn 42 - January 17th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather mostly cleared allowing most of my air strikes to happen. We landed a few more bases and captured a couple more. Our big attacks of the turn both failed - Palembang and Hengyang.

Turn 43 - January 18th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Majority of my air strikes went through including the heavy bombing of Hengyang and the paradrop of an additional paratroop unit there. US CVs show up in the South Pacific catching an amphib TF.

Turn 44 - January 19th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

A bunch of air strikes were cancelled due to weather again but we had some major successes on land. We captured a bunch of bases including two big ones !!

Turn 45 - January 20th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather cancelled a few air strikes but we were able to hit some Chinese troops in the open hard. We landed a couple more bases and captured a pair.

Turn 46 - January 21st, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather cancelled a few air strikes but the ones that made it through pounded on the Chinese south of Hengyang. We landed a couple bases and captured a few more in this slow turn.

Weather blocked a bunch of my air strikes in China leaving us with a rather lackluster turn. Allied planes out of Batavia score some hits on some transports.

Weather was horrible keeping most of my flights grounded. The allies bomb Palembang oilfields at night and we capture a couple bases.

Weather was horrible again hindering our air strikes. We captured a single base and landed troops at another. IJN finds some merchies hiding near Mindano and says hello.

Turn 50 - January 25th, 1942. Xargun (Japan) vs Deaniks (Allies).

Weather prevents multiple air strikes but some do go off as planned hammering airfields and Chinese troops. We capture a few bases and land at more. We clear the rail near Kaifeng of Chinese troops as well.
