Yes, those Hollywood "Napalm Grenades" do tend to be a little unrealistic. The same with lead bullets sparking off trees, whining ricochets off various soft objects (I once saw a movie that had whining, sparking ricochets off a hay bale!) and untamped dynamite charges (usually 4-5 sticks) taking down entire buildings. Oh, and the guy who picks up the .50 cal, throws a belt over his shoulder and then charges the enemy, firing as he goes. Take a look at my avatar picture... That's half a belt of .50 cal I'm wearing, and it weighed close to 50 pounds. Add a Ma Deuce on top of that, in addition to the other 100 pounds of gear your average grunt carried, and the guy would be lucky he could stand up, let alone run. Not to mention it's impossible to feed an MG from a belt that's wrapped around your freakin' neck without strangling yourself!

Been there, tried that, it don't work!

Hmm, so this is gonna be an "Easy Rider meets the Dirty Dozen" sort of road warrior movie? Well then, fire one up, err, I mean I'm fired up!

I guess I'll still be played by Matt Modine as he was in "Full Metal Jacket"--Private Joker indeed.

I only hope...

Paul Rubens has a hand in the film.
I'm thinking he could pull off Hawk. :p
Thoughts?
LOL...

Well I would go for the Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks combo ala Saving Private Ryan & Band of Brothers. I would also plump for Michael Kamen for the sound track - ok you have guessed it - I think Band of Brothers is superb - wish the same team would make other classics in this style - Longest Day or A Bridge Too Far with their touch on it would be class...... (having said that both originals are good too)

I know what you mean, Bernie.
Guys, take a look at this; .50 cal ammo is frickin' HUGE.

No wonder V2's scout .50 cals make mincemeat out of my AFVs...

Actually, if you look close at the base of those rounds you'll see they have no primers... They're dummies...fakes.
So, if he
does have anything else on that bed, it's probably...errr...inflatable.
As found here! (click link)
Of course, Orzel wouldn't have anything like that though...right?

But, on the other hand, how did you come up with that link so fast?

I see nobody is looking to have Marlon Brando represent them...
...and Kenneth Brannagh has appeared in a few war movies that Shakespeare wrote the screenplay for...

Quite right, those are dummies. "For display only". Then again, it's not my bed

, it's a GIS for ".50 cal ammo" result.
(my bed would in that case have a much cooler camo cover, in the Swedish M-90 pattern)
I take no responsibilty for inflated cattle or their safety.

Li'l Tom Felton (give him a few years) for the real me... Jackie Chan (despite being Chinese) for Irinami... 'cause he panicks perfectly.
The Kunel as himself...
Tom Arnold as M4...
R. Lee Ermey for VikingNo2...
Bruce Campbell as Hawk...
and the freakish Christopher Walken as Goblin.
