The battle continues on Ibiza. While we take the brunt of the casualties, so are the Fascists - with destroyed artillery guns now left on the battlefield.
Santa Eularia is turning into a hospital village, littered with the wounded and shell-shocked, the damaged vehicles and guns, and nurses running around to treat as many soldiers as possible. Even the recovered are too exhausted to be immidately sent back to the battle.

Our fighters have caught up with Italian airplanes but, unfortunately, they prove too fast for our airframes despite the pilots' best efforts.
Minor victory on the air and seas: spotted fleeing Alcudia, now in the Republic's hands, the barge Ciudad of Alcudia was caught by our Vilderbeest and easily sunk with a single bomb.

Rather than reinforcing the Italians at Can Pastilia, the Fascists decided instead to move to reinforce the Militia stragglers further along the paved road to Lloseta to deny us the road. They move right into the Carlos Marx Regiment's shock assault to finish the latter off, inflicting us significant casualties. Although we managed to breakthrough, no reserve was available to exploit the holes in the Fascist lines.
One of our Centuria from the Marx Regiment has seen its infantry throroughly smashed, taking the brunt of the Fascist counterattack. They are order to retreat to Lloseta to regroup.
Long-range artillery congregate in the hills northwest of Can Pastilia while the Pajarero, moves in the battle. Son San Juan seeming empty but for damaged Italian equipment and a Coastal Canon, Montagut Regiment moves in for a daring raid to attempt to cut the enemy off from their rear.
Vidal's column was redirected onto their flank, while Calero's troops continue their push to seize Felanitx.

In Ibiza, the Rebels' attack seems to be petering off.
Soon to be disbanded, the Fantasma Regiment moves back into occupy the front lines.

When you capture devices such as the guns they will show up as destroyed in the combat report.

Thank you, I didn't know that.
I checked in the RSVs and sadly, no enemy guns were captured as loot from what I saw.

You are welcome. Yes, unfortunately the guns are sometimes destroyed and not captured.

Can Pastilia has been captured.
Defeated, the Italians retreated back into Son San Juan, leaving a mere 1-ton tractor as loot on the battlefield. Pajarero's men pushes southeast further into the breach to cut the Fascists away from their supply lines to Son San Juan and Palma. The Bayo Boys stay and hold Can Pastilia, while Vidal's Regiment prepares push into the Rebel flank as soon Pajarero is in position in their rear.
The retreating Italians now on the defence inside the town, the numbers are now against the Montagut Regiment which slowly retreat back to Marratxi, while Casanellas and Otero's Regiment are slowly unloaded in Puerto de Soller.
Despite their growing exhaustion, Calero keeps pushing toward Campos aiming to cordon the Nationalists away from any line of supply from the eastern coast of the island.
The meatgrinder continues on Ibiza.
Oddly, being on the defence and the casualties inflicted on the Fascist's failed attack have renewed their energy and resilience. We cautiously order an attack. However, with their supply lines so close from the city of Ibiza, perhaps another column will have to be deployed in the rear of the enemy lines to attack Ibiza itself.

The Fascists have been completely isolated from their supply sources. Four regiments are currently unloading on the main land and fast marching on the main towns to secure control of our main supply road when they are dealt with. One detachment is moving from Can Pastilia to secure the rail line in case they decide to retreat into the hills.
Vidal's Column is going in from the East for the kill.
Reports of more Italian squadrons being deployed in Son San Juan enter our Headquarters, and the pressure from trained air bombers is starting to be felt as more enemy near-misses onto the hulks of our cargos. However, our "fighter" squadron is currently fully on maintenance and they will be inoperable for days.
Our long-range artillery, however, is concentrated in Can Pastilia - they will aim squarely for the runways in Son San Juan, pummeling its airfields into fuming holes and rendering them useless.

For the first time since the offensive, the Ibiza Fascists seem to receive more casualties than our side.
They might be starting to crack under the pressure and might be soon breaking.

The Spanish Republican Navy is also scheduled to arrive next week in the Mediteranean Sea. Including the Jaime I, the Libertad, and several destroyers that might have an impact on reconquering the two Islands and denying the seas to the Fascists.
Until they arrive, a secondary objective of the Republican Army is securing the main coastal batteries along the southern coastline. Then, we bring the ships close enough (but not too close, so their heavy guns remain outside the range of the Fascist coastal batteries in Palma and Son San Juan) to blockade the port and bombard the island's capital into submission.
Perhaps, even, turn those closest batteries onto Palma and Son San Juan?
