Turn 9 (Japan)

More Shermans come under the fire of my Type 5's, and more die.

In the center of the map a team of Shermans are trying to cross a hilltop and the bridge just beyond. Several 75mm AA guns have them in their sights, and AT units are in position. Come on Jess...cross the bridge... ;)

In the swamps, more Marine assault squads find out they are no match for Japanese infantry...and artillery. The gators are feasting well on choice tidbits. :)

To the enemy rear lines, several units of engineer paratroops have closed on the enemy 4.2" mortar positions, reducing his arty ability by half.

Reinforcements? How wonderful! Now we get to see what happens when reinforcements meet the large minefield my engineers have been busily planting in your rear areas! Tread carefully Jess...LOL! :D:D

Ah! Jess-san! Now you understand why I dropped engineers behind your lines instead of paratroops? :D :D

I predict very, very few of your reinforcements will make it to the front lines...if any.

Say sayonara Jess! F9...it is the honorable thing for you to do. :)

Japan Turn 10.b

Turn 10, and more Shermans and Marines die! Twice! :D

Actually, I did turn 10.a, killing two Shermans, two scout cars, and a bunch of Marine squads then sent the zip to Jess, but it wouldn't work! We tried a few times, rezipping and resending, but I ended up having to replay the turn. Hence, turn 10.b :)

Let's see... Oh yes, those Marine assault squads in my rear areas? Down to one left now. :)

My engineers in Jess' rear areas? They claim a .30cal Jeep, a flame tank (with a mine), two scount cars, two recon squads, and a 4.2" mortar

My mobile AA units did some severe damage to a Sherman silly enough to park on a hill. Didn't kill it, but with no guns and immobile I might as well have. :)

The crew of a destroyed Type 5 took revenge on a handy Sherman, and its crew. They may be walking home, but the Sherman was a total write off.

What else, what else...? Oh yes, a couple of US platoons around the center of the map are on a rapid retreat, after being chased by some mobile AA and a pair of Stuarts.

And, to top it all off, all Jess' reinforcements are now under observation...pending some 155mm welcome baskets. :)

Back to the action~

Yo-Yo's keep dieing! :D on the main front.

In Bernie~Sans rear my USMC assault teams are really startinf to shine as more and more Japs are thrown in to try and stop their push to the Japs main VH cluster

I really love these USMC assault sqds! :)

Either it's reincarnation, or you're used to your own tanks blowing up at the first scratch and expect all the others to do it too. Two of those "dead" Type 5's just blew away 3 of your Shermans. :D

Oh, and two recon patrols won't be reporting in anytime soon...as well as an infantry squad or two, and another Marine assault squad.

Keep 'em coming Jess! I have plenty of ammo! :)

TURN 11 (12?) THE MIGHT!

I own most all the VHs now, my USMC ABs have all but surrounded at least a platoon of Japs in the back woods :p Gotta Love um! :)

The main front line is also pushing forward!~

Bernie~Sans "AUX" units are now dieing my the scores! :p

The F9 is right between the F8 and F10 keys Bernie~San

its ok...go ahead..hit it!

The Might Turn 12

I must admit, those Type 5 Yo-Yo's are nasty! I shot one this turn 8 hits and no byby~san

However Bernie~San is not posting turn reports because he knows its all but over.

My ring closes and the Japs keep dieing with few kills to my own units.

In the Jap rear there is more than a mere platoon there! But my Hero USMC Assault SQs can handle them.

I capture another VH which means I hold all but 2 front line VHs and Bernie~Sans HQ cluster.

GUNG-HO!!!
