How typical that we can not get accurate information about this. It isn't like we are asking for the exact code on air 2 air combat, just what is the effect of using reapir/depot ships. I do believe that our real life counterparts had a pretty good idea of how their repair/depot ships worked. [:@][&:][:(]

If you are playing Allies in WitP and Japan has not won an auto-victory, you are still winning.

I usually assign 4 AR's to all the major Allied shipyards and then 3 to Pearl, Noumea, Brisbane, and some to India. I add 2 or 3 AD's to some bases like Pearl, Noumea, and Sydney. Then I have a mobile group of 4 AR's and 4 AD's assigned to Central and South Pacific to be at the closest base during an invasion to save any ships damaged during the attack.

Since I worked on AS-34 USS Canopus, while in the Navy, I want the Allies to have plenty of repair when the Death Star begins moving in '43. [:D]
