Is editing stadiums as simple as cut and pasting images or do you have to know graphic design to create the stadiums?
I have pictures of real stadiums that I wanted to plug into the existing stadiums. I would love to import the columns of the L.A. Coliseum as a backdrop if I knew how. So if anybody knows how to do this, please help.

yes its as simple as cut and paste no need to know 3d and stuff, you just need to find the bmp files from the stadiums that are not unpacked, i use a hex editor but if your familiar with 3d and stuff i use caligari. i posted two stadiums at FBMAX that werent unpacked. the bmps are there:)

There's an open source, free 3D program at
www.blender.org. Should work with this stuff and did I mention FREE?
Have you tried to open the building.x file with Blender? If so how do you do it, I have been unable to figure out how!
I have not tried but I searched the internet a little. You might have to download a plug-in to do it. From
http://www.toymaker.info/Games/html/3d_models.html:
Thanks for your response. However, I am a little confused. All of the information provided seems to cover ways to export from Blender to a direct x file. What I would like to do is to take the building.x file in the unpacked stadium files and get it into Blender so it can be edited.

Thanks, local8h. I'll try to do the cut and pasting of images once I get my home PC up and running. I'll let you know how it comes out.

Most 3rd party plugins only provide exporters. Download the Deep Exploration Demo by Right Hemisphere that'll let you save it into a format that Blender can read like .3ds [8D]

Someone should extract the player
not to replace it but just to load onto a 3d paint program so you can paint directly on the difficult stretchy parts of the model.
The helmet too of course [8D]
You can't paint directly on to the player model. If you want to create uniforms, use the uniform & helmet viewer

If it has textures you can paint directly onto the model with a 3d paint Program.
You can't do it with a direct X model of course but it can be converted over to a different format.
I've been using the helmet viewer and uniform viewer but there is still parts that are hard and get kinda stretchy [;)]

I was thinking of someday making some NFL Stadiums with Milkshape. Milkshape is a every cheap 3D Program that can make stadiums for MaxFB. All you need too do is make your 3D Stadium, export it too .X format, then insert the Stadium into the game directory that has all the other Stadiums in there.

I just wanna make it bigger so i can fit the stadium I'm currently workin on. If I take it out
