Thanks for the files. Perhaps, I did something wrong. I put the map in the my maps directory and ran MM to generate the cache. I put the scenario in the scenario directory. After reading the briefing and trying to load it, I get the following error. Was I supposed to copy over some files from my HTTR directory or something?

BTW, I tried this with the digital download retail version of the game. This was not with a beta version.

Did you try copying the HTTR estab into the COTA estab folder?

I forgot to say that the HttR estabs must resides on appropriate Cota folder.

Okay, which file(s) must I copy (source -> destination)? {I never do any scenario development/work.}

on my computer it would be:

source: matrix games/Highway to the Reich/estabs/httrestab.aae

destination: matrix games/Conquest of the Aegean/estabs/httrestab.aae

I'm going on memory that the file name is "httrestab", but it will be the only file in the estabs folder with a .aae extension. you cant miss it.

Oh yea, Don't rename it when you copy it to the CotA/estab folder.

So it basically works.

Nice test run Mark. Of course this is a simple scenario and there are stuff to look at like proper resupply. But I note that basic usage of HTTR estab seems feasible, even if not intended by devs.

But that was TOAW's bread and butter. I am confused...

No, of course you can share the scenarios you create. What you can't share is the game executables and stuff like the Estab files and the original scenarios that come with the game. We want to encourage as many people to create and share their own scenarios.
