Matrix met their 5GB monthly limit.
Do any of you that downloaded 1.24 have it saved on your computer? If so you could upload it to somewhere like
www.sendspace.com and provide the link here for all the other users.

If true, that's hilarious... and cause for congratulations, Shaun! If you've got that much current interest going, that makes this the most successful version of PS to date. Way to go, my friend!

As a stop gap measure and until Shaun finds more ftp space, I have uploaded 1.24 to RapidShare. You can get the file
here. Be sure to click on the free download, not the premium service.

I think that is 5GB for all of Matrix, not PSBB. But not sure on that.

Damn, that is pretty small for a company that mainly relys on internet sales and product downloads...

I may be wrong, but I don't think Shaun was using Matrix as the host for his beta patches. The 1.24 patch was being hosted by Free Web Space Inc.

I believe you are right, Jon. Back as far as v1.18, it was the same server as now.
I can't tell you how bad it looks if Matrix can't foot some webspace for Shaun's upgrades and patches. Compared to the other bb sims out there and their related companies, it looks really, really awful.

My suggestion is get the FTP space (should be from Matrix, but whatever... [8|] ), then post old patches on Rapidshare and keep a running log of their URLs for people to download should there be a need. We need some type of archive for these things. I have the space if needed, but the current patch should always be available from Matrix, no if, and or buts about that.
I might need to give some 'feedback' to the Matrix guys on this situation. [:-]

I suspect that most Matrix official patches have to go through a bit of QA first, and that Shaun is making these beta patches available to us as a courtesy and for some easy beta testing ... but with a pretty big understanding that things could go wrong.

That could be a very salient point. Thanks, and that would be a good policy.

Duhhhh... I set up a league using the Import Players Prior new option....
Except I forgot to make it a 50-man league. [8|] Was wondering where all these other 15 players per team were located...
sheesh....

I have alot of the older patches saved on my computer.. I even think I may have patches and files going all the way back to Puresim 2003 on dvd somewhere.
