Thanks! I'm fine - I decided to turn my side job in an IT company into a career. That means I'm not a history student anymore - the job prospect were slim anyway. [;)]

Anyways, nice football match we had today. Some people were almost hitting the roof on the pitch but oh well [;)]
'Twas an alright match. I half expected Ze Germans to score against the run of play as usual [8|] At least the best team won tonight [:)]
"Ze Germans" had run out of luck, I'm afraid. The last 30 minutes were horrible to watch. [:(] Kudos to Spain, though, they played beautiful soccer.

For asparagus lovers Germany hosts a number of Spargelfests. You can find entire menu's based around asparagus/Spargel. One unusual recipe I adopted is a leek and asparagus soup with liver dumplings, very tasty. Plus since the Spargelfest usually occurs in April/May you can usually find deals since tourist season isn't in full swing[:)].

Yup, asparagus is very popular in Germany. I hated it as a child, now I can't get enough of it.
