That could be because of copyright issues with the images. Ed had to get permission to use the ship images....GP

The link doesn't work anymore. I tried Jdownloader and deactivating AdBlock/Antivirus. I also tried Google but it only finds v 1. Does anyone have a working Link for it? My Star Trek itch is killing me XD Thank you in advance.

I don't understand how no one has a copy of 2.0. Is modding just dying for older games? Civ 4 had a super vibrant modding community that released some really cool mods from different universes yet it's also just as dead as DWU is. I feel like the modding we grew up with in the 90's early 2000's to 2015 was so banging, yet now companies rarely release good modding tools that give you complete freedom anymore. Civ 4, Dawn of War, Distant Worlds Universe, and many other games let you make full on conversion mods, but now it all feels like a thing of the past, Civ 5 changed the way you could mod it, and you could no longer make completely different world mods anymore, and Civ 6 was even worse. Gaming now a days feels so depressing, the industry is so big and oversaturated now. Sorry, I know I'm just ranting into a void, but it just makes me so sad..

As players stop playing game they slowly loose mods for various reasons like dead HDD, not moving game to new HDD after not playing it for few years and so on. And public file shares delete files after few month, year at best, so they slowly vanish from internet. Also there is no reason to subscribe to forum of game you don't play even if anyone still have mod.

Download the file "Star Trek Picard era V2.zip" from my Microsoft account and extract the folder into the folder Distant Worlds Universe/Customization" folder and you are ready to play.

I see there's a mod called Star Trek Federation Wars shown in your screenshot. Can I ask where you got that from, as I don't think it's on this site? I'm into changing shipstyles to give a little more 'variety' and have used some ships from various mods to personalise sets in the DWUR mod, but I'm always on the lookout for more! Obviously a lot of the older mods are no longer available though.
