I have been considering purchasing TOAW III but have been waiting for TOAW IV to be released.
If we are looking at 6 months or more for TOAW IV to be released I would purchase TOAW III.
I would hate to purchase version III and then version IV was released soon after the purchase of version III.

Now I have seen the new game there is no way back - TAOW 3 is dead to me. So I'm just waiting...

It will be released as soon as a release date is released but not until the bugs become adequately debugged in an adequate but timely fashion not to be such a problem as to cause inadequate releases before the release is properly released and the situation has been fully studied upon the studies release to the releasing parties. Really looking forward to this one as well. I want one wargame I can really sink my teeth into for awhile, and this one covers so many conflicts and theaters, it would be worth it to learn the system in depth.
