US transfers one CV from the West Coast to the East Coast. And sends out a couple of convoys between India and Phillipines.
CW sail a TRS loaded with Wavell, and escorted by HMS Ramillies, to the Bay of Biscay. CW also send two Belgian CPs to Cape St. Vincent.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the French fleet (4 ships) in Oran sail to the 4 box in West Med.
French fleet search for the German convoy in the Baltic Sea and finds it. The convoy take a severe beating and the remnants flee for a safe port. France rolled a 5 while Germany rolled a 7.
What port will Germany abort to?
warspite1
Ormster what were the dice rolls result against the convoys in the Baltic? Strangely I do not seem to have received these?
EDIT: Not strange - I see that the attacks are automatically a 10 - sorry [8|]

The Italians deploy a smokescreen across the harbour to obscure the aim of the torpedo bombers (4 points to avoid combat, thanks).
warspite1
The Italian smokescreen is really quite impressive.

And another two is rolled and that is an acceptable result since the Polish loss took a German unit with them.

Back on HMS Glorious the chaps hold an impromptu debrief on their way to a well-earned cup of tea

The unmistakably Gallic lines of the Duquesne-class heavy cruiser Tourville, on her way back from sinking some German merchant shipping in the Baltic.

Thank you for cheering me up.
After sleeping close to 4 hours I was feeling kind of grumpy so I needed a laugh. And you provided several. [:)]
Thank you, warspite1. [&o]

Are you going to advance with the 5-3 from the hex southeast of Warsaw?

The last attack was an success. Even though the Italian divisions survived to annoy us again. But since the goal was to liberate Algiers I can't complain about a surviving division.

On all of our attacks we rolled low. But on the end of turn roll we rolled a 9. And the weather roll was to low for comfort. Go figure.

Despite the best efforts of Field Marshal Orm (2 x 2 and a 3 - really?) [;)] the Algerian capital is liberated. Which leads me to a key question:
How many Frenchmen does it take to stick a flag on a pole?

I say that we need a new meteorologist. Yanet is being investigated for leaving information to the enemy.
