The MS 406 at 55,30 will contest the raid at 53,31. I'll decide the AA fire once I know the results of this combat.

The German bomber is cleared. Germany then aborts the fight.

Where will the French fighter land?

And will France use their AA? It can fire, for effect, at one of the two hexes. If it fires it will get the lowest die out of six.

The artillery bombardment, however, was a failure.

Overall, the German ground strikes gave a result close to average.

The Japanese artillery had some success.

And that brings the ground strike result to above average.
