Not suprisingly, Tonys performed best. 65th Sentai is awarded
with 13 kills (10 enemy bombers and 3 fighters) and they are
responsible for all shoted down B-17E this turn, i think.
Zeros (exp from 72-75) couldn't hurt enemy monsters (they damaged
some, but with no kills) but they shot down quite a lot Mitchells.
I guess that these B-17 are veterans, but hey, i didn't sleep either!
I checked their experience level and some pilots of this elite
Sentai (overall exp - 88) are gained experience:
J. Futagami -3 kills
+2 exp (now 91)
S. Ishida - 1 kill
+1 exp (91)
O. Miyabe - 1 kill
+1 exp (95)
R. Kasabe -1 kill
+1 exp (86)
This Sentai withdrew to Wotje to recuperate - i have big plans
forthis eilte interceptor group (exp 89!).

I think Andy got message "no more easy gains for you" after
his colonial troops are defeated at Akyab and forced to retreat
towards Dacca (nice, malaria will spare my soldier bullets).
Ground combat at Akyab
Japanese Shock attack
Attacking force 1606 troops, 9 guns, 0 vehicles
Defending force 465 troops, 2 guns, 0 vehicles
Japanese assault odds: 3 to 1
Japanese ground losses:
39 casualties reported
Guns lost 3
Allied ground losses:
6 casualties reported
Now what? It seems that Andy hoped for another cheap gain (Akyab) but I
denied that him. But I'm on alert there - Bettys on naval search reported
presence of the enemy ships in India. Not a lot ships, but i need to be
careful there.
CHINA
One division joined my bde in hex north of Sian and enemy was forced
to retreat in Sian. Good - his defeated units will drawn supply.

Defending force 12176 troops, 58 guns, 0 vehicles

Japanese ground losses:

Guns lost 12
Allied ground losses:
56 casualties reported
Defeated Allied Units Retreating!
My units still are 40 miles from his blocking force near Ichang,
and it would be interesting to see who will came first. But
"Seprtlja-go" does not depend only on that - i'm reinforcing
my "Homan Army group" north of Homan and hopefully Andy would think
either i planing main attack there (and send reinforcements to Sian),
either i would be able to broke his defence at this hex.
IMPERIAL HQ NEWS SHEET
It seems that enemy plans offensive(s) against our Empire in the future.
Most likely would attack in two theatres at the same time what would cause
spliting of our Navy and KB. According to our inteligence service these two
theatres are Burma and Marshalls.
We are not going to reinforce Malaya/Burma with ships anymore - what is there
it have to be enough for holding the line (Akagi, Hosho, 3 BBs). Air force
is getting stronger day by day (have 3 crack LBA daitais) and two Zero daitais
will be reinforced with two chutais. Two more IJA AF groups (Tojo and Tony)
now transfering to Burma.
PACIFIC - one Tony sentai from Truk is sent to Kwajelein, and one crack
Oscar sentai (from Australia) is sent to Truk where will upgrade to Tony.
Upgraded carriers (Hiryu, Soryu, Kaga) will join rest of KB in Truk after
repairing all damage.
