Could we have a single unit port, sorta like the single-unit airfields? Maybe small (1-2 commercial ships), medium (3-6), large (6-10) and commercial-sized (11+) versions.

There already is one.

Ugh, yeah, I just realized I was working with an older version of the database. Thanks.

I have noticed what appears to be an oversight with the RIM-116 RAM - none of the four versions in the database can be used against surface targets. However, this capability was added to the weapon (I believe in Block I, but I'm not sure).

Would it be possible to add the rest of the DigitalGlobe/MDA constellation? They're fairly powerful overhead sensors.

Worldview-3:
Orbital Parameters: 620.4 km x 621.3 km, 97.8° inclination
Launch Date: 13 August 2014
Sensors:
Generic Satellite Visual Camera - 675 NM range, Visual, 3rd Generation, Surface/Ground Search
Generic Satellite IR Camera - 675 NM Range, Infrared , 3rd Generation, Surface/Ground Search

Worldview-4:
Orbital Parameters: 619.3 km x 622.4 km, 97.9° inclination
Launch Date: 11 November 2016
Sensors:
Generic Satellite Visual Camera - 675 NM range, Visual, 3rd Generation, Surface/Ground Search

Radarsat-2:
Orbital Parameters: 798 km x 799.8 km, 98.6° inclination
Launch Date: 14 December 2007
Sensors:
Generic Satellite SAR - 650 NM

Also, some of the DSP constellation needs extended lifespans. Per a 2015 article in Aviation Week DSP-16 was still on orbit after 24 years, and was the oldest DSP satellite. DSP-23 failed in September of 2008, but the database still has it available in 2010

I found some mistake on database.

- T-50 PAK-FA(2017) -> Su-57 PAK-FA(2017)

- F-16XL Falcon(Hypothetical unit)

Image

It can be equipped with CBU-97/B SFW.
But CBU-97/B SFW does not apply to loadouts. It is set to another weapon.

- UK Phantom II FG.1(CWDB)

Image

That was changed incorrect name on db 474v. It was Phantom II FG.1 before database.

- F-4J Phantom II(1972~1974 Both marines, navy - CWDB)

Image

I know that, AIM-7F Sparrow III introduced in 1976.

Is it correct?

- Su-30SM/Su-30M2 Flanker G

http://www.janes.com/article/79996/russ ... s-to-syria

It was equipped R-77 Vympel missile in syria.

And I suggest some new units on database.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_001A ... ft_carrier
It will be commissioned on 2018 ~ 2019. Would you add new chinese carrier on next database?

Than, It is little more exciting for hypothetical units.

1. F-16XL is not exist since 2001. Would you make a more detailed up to this day?
It will be upgrade AN/APG-68(v)9 CCIP on 2003, and It will equipped AN/APG-83 SABR AESA on 2017~2018.

2. F-14E Super Tomcat line-up - need more detalied.

Image

That is F/A-18E/F Super Hornet - sensors tab.

Image

It is F-14E Advanced Super Tomcat's sensors tab.

If F-14E adopted NATF project, Also It will be changed to follow hornet's upgrade.
As well as AN/APG-71(v) renovate AESA radar follow weapon development trends.

3. Russian Su-33 Flanker D, Yak-141 Freestyle

I understand Yak-141 is exist instead of MiG-29C variants.
But Yak-141(2015) can be equipped R-77-1 air-to-air missile. It range 60nm, But Yak-141's radar
(N-109M Topaz) can not support completely. That radar max range are 50nm. It needs more long range
radar.

Would you add hypothetical Su-33 loadouts?

S-8KO Rocket, S-13B Rocket, S-25OFM Rocket
Kh-31A ASM, Kh-31P ARM, Kh-31AD ASM, Kh-31PD ARM, Kh-25MP ARM
RBK-500 Cluster bomb
FAB-500M-54~62, FAB-1000-62 GPB.

I owe you for your services every day.

Thank you :)

JASDF(Japanese Air Force)bought GBU-39 SDU by Mutual Defense Assistance at 2015. At same time they bought AIM-9X so it is for F-35.

The source is from Japanese Air Systems Research Center so it's true but written by Japanese. It is at Japanese Air Systems Research Center of 調達情報の公表 of "平成27年度 月別契約情報/随意契約(基準以上)(Excelファイル)" It is excel File.

Would it be possible to create a database entry for the concept ship "Dreadnought 2050"? It's a concept ship designed in response to an informal design challenge by the U.K. Ministry of Defense (MOD) and Royal Navy. The ship is designed for technologies which in some cases don't exist yet in real life or in the Command MANO database. Such as being semi-submersible, fusion drive powered, capable of 50kts top speed, and a tethered quad-copter running off power from the ship carrying sensors and possibly a laser CIWS system instead of a main mast.
I know the concept is something a bit over the horizon of the current time periods explored in the databases, but I feel it would be an interesting addition to play around with.

I think DB3000 will only take 2030s concept units at the farthest, and has to be officially confirmed that the country has the plan to build it. Otherwise, it will not even to be considered as hypothetical unit (like Russian future carrier 23000E, and HMS QE with EMALS upgrade).

Sturgeon-class submarine database something wrong.

CWDB

1975-1977 Sturgeon has only mounted AN/BQQ-5A(v)2 sonar.
1978 Sturgeon are changed AN/BQQ-2 sonar.

DB3K

All Sturgeon are mounted AN/BQQ-2 old sonar, it is inferior to Permit-class submarine.

Portugeuse Korteanuer updates

http://www.janes.com/article/79824/port ... fe-upgrade

Work will include installing new combat management and electronic warfare systems, as well as upgrading the PHS-36 hull-mounted sonar, Goalkeeper close-in weapon system, and Harpoon missile fire-control system. The frigates’ Mk 46 lightweight torpedoes launching systems will be upgraded to the Mk 54 standard, which performs better in littoral waters, while the RIM-7P SeaSparrow point defence missile system will be replaced with the RIM-162 Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM).

Another update. Look NZ Anzac

http://www.janes.com/article/79680/hmnz ... gins-refit

The vessel will receive an upgraded combat management system (CMS) based on Lockheed Martin’s CMS 330, in addition to the integration of other sensors, the Sea Ceptor anti-missile system, and a combat systems trainer, to be refitted for further service.

Thank You

The RGM-84A Harpoon IP (#1612) may be hanging around on mounts in error, well past it's service life. Initial version began 1977 and is showing on mounts in the DB3000 as late as 2003. The IB and IC version entered service early-late 80s and I would think would have replaced the IP entirely by 1990.

US Ships, such as the Iowa, Belknap, Long Beach, Bainbridge, and California all show in DB3000 as using the IP until 1990 or later. The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Japan all show platforms with the IP well into the 1990s and as late as 2003.

I'm not an expert. I edit the mount myself to the IB or IC versions when I play a scenario with these platforms. Easy enough to do, but thought this might be a minor DB3000 "typo".
