What really happened is the Mayan knew it was close to Stalker Girl's birthday and I think my sister-in-law told the Mayan how old Stalker Girl is ...so I pick up the Mayan at my sister-in-law's house and we are driving home and she says something like "Doctor! Me parece que Stalker Girl es mas vieja que {redacted}"...or..."It seems to me that Stalker Girl is older than {redacted}" [X(]
Santa Maria! (We are back to me talking) That is absolutely nuclear. It like banging together two subcritical pieces of U-235! I didn't tell Stalker Girl, though I was tempted because I really do enjoy girl fights. I was; however, worried about liability after I cancelled my umbrella policy.
Anyway, when we get home the Mayan says to Stalker Girl, "Joo boortday?"
Stalker Girl replies; "Yes Savina, {redacted}"
"Yo tengo {redacted + dos}" and smiles broadly (from my perspective this was a clearly meant as a challenge, a sort of "look how much better preserved I am").
I am standing over in the corner making myself a Hendrick's martini just waiting to see the flash of blue light when criticality is reached. Then the phone rang and the control rods were dropped.

If you refer to his Imperial majesty's HIJMS fleet of aircraft carriers, you're mistaken, round eyes. It wouldn't be hard to put together some 13+ flight decks by mid-summer 1942, but before the Unryus roll out in late 1943.
I'm referring to all flight decks-CV, CVL, CVE. Not counting CS use of float fighters. I'll have to do a 'headcount' at home tonight. Offhand, the count includes KB (obviously), a couple of other CVs, 3 CVLs and 3-4 CVEs.ORIGINAL: Cap Mandrake

Do tell. Are you refering to CV's only or all flight decks? We did sink a CVL and CVE as well.
Assuming they had pressed hard for CV's, where would the air complements come from? Are there enough Vals, Kates and Zeroes or do they take surviving Daitai from lost carriers?

You wanna bet it rains? Most of the time I had to exit my car from the passenger side when I parked at the curb during rainstorms because stepping out of the drivers side I would have been ankle deep.
