Task forces break off...
E. No.8 got wrecked bad by CV Lexington, there were even sinking noises afterwards so I think Lexington actually managed to sink her with surface gunnery. Just another chance encounter, goes to show though that when threats are around rather than ASW trawlers you really want surface combat groups with your CVs... shame my one is now out of ammo!

Now the LBA on Luzon has been badly attritted the strikes against the CVs are far too weak to pierce the CAP. Many Japs get shot down today... With Manilas defences broken we're certainly draining the zit now.
