You are right, I should have been more specific. I was hoping for a screenshot of a dead forum member....[:D]

Yes, and most days we post more than one. But lately we've been busy trying to get the demo's done and the update released to you.

We'll try to do better.

Good Hunting.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound ungrateful. You guys are doing a great job. It is just that with each screenshot this game is looking better than before.

I'll try to make up for the lack of screens by posting a few from the last QB I have played. Screens are work in progress/images are compressed/rendering stuff is still being changed (but I'm not allowed to tweak things any more, which is a good sign as far as us being very, very close to you seeing something soon). As other people involved in the making of the new update have mentioned, we have been in overdrive lately.

The game starts off with my lone AT gun getting taken out from the air:

An example of enemy AI situational awareness- the Soviet AFV has encountered my squad in the building and withdrew to avoid up-close AT assets that might make for an unpleasant repair job:

Thanks

The alpha is set in the map maker. It just needs to be adjusted to eliminate the see-through areas seen in the screens with the issues.

Having the alpha adjustable allows the 3D trees to appear like they have lost leaves- helpful for fall and early winter. Not so good with the more planar trees that we have replaced the stock PzC:K trees with, which retain the basic model of the old trees (adjusted where they were odd) with new textures. It makes the older maps look far better. These trees are lower res than the newer 3D trees, so they are good for filling out maps with lots of high-poly models without bringing lower spec machines to their knees.
