Impulse #7 (Axis)

Germany makes two land attacks. Italy, and Japan, makes one attack each.

1) The first versus the French units SW of Brussels. All adjacent units attack ands they are supported by the paradrop. All units, except the AA, are doubled by the offensive (6 units doubled). Current odds is 83:18 although that includes the French notional. Pluses to the attack is not yet decided, although it will be either +5, or +6.

2) The second attack is against the Polish defenders SE of Warsaw. Current odds is 7:1 blitz.

3) Italy attack Tunis and the current odds is 7:1.

4) Japan attacks Chengchow. Current odds 7:1

Pluses breakdown on the main German attack (adjacent Brussels):
+2 - disorganized defenders
+2 - panzer bonus (1.5 but rounded to +2)
+1 - para bonus
+1 - notional

Question: Will France include the notional defender? Odds without 83:17 +5, and with 83:18 +6.

Future questions:
1) Will the Polish HQI attempt to give defensive HQ support?
2) Will France use defensive HQ support?

I saw an answer, from France, in another thread that I think is for this thread. So I continue with a double no answer to the notional and HQ support. If this is wrong then I will go back and change it. I also decline the HQ support in Poland. Although, if CW so request, I will eagerly go back and change this.

Two Italian BBs provide 3 points in shore bombardment to the attack on Tunis.

One German LND2 try to provide 2 points in ground support. Will France intercept it? Or fly defensive ground support? France has 1 FTR2, 1 FTR3, and 1 LND3, available for these missions.

Germany has 3 FTR2, and 1 FTR2, on standby for counter-interception.

Will France send any air to the combat hex?

Correct on the posting in the wrong thread. Fool of a Took!

I think you are right with the Poles but it’s Warspite1’s call.

No to air support, thanks.

The Poles take no action in defence of anywhere other than the two cities.

One French unit is destroyed in Belgium, while two defenders are shattered. Which unit will be destroyed?

Two of the German panzers are doubled by von Rundstedt (HQA), and advance through the combat hex and overrun Georges (HQI). Then they become disorganized.

Edit: Changed to the correct picture.

Graziani (HQA) liberate Tunis.

German forces run over the Polish defenders south of Warsaw, along with a group of partisans.

Final attack is in China, and that will be assault. Unless, of course, the Allies feel extremely, uncharacteristically, generous.
