Turn 51. Axis. August 1, 1941. The Eastern Front. End of Turn.

1. The axis continue to rush forward into the every expanding vast territory of the Soviet Union.
2. Very apparent that the axis, especially the Wehrmacht need more ground units that can fight!
3. That is, infantry corps and armies on the Eastern Front.

Actually, you are doing very well considering you only have 3 tanks, and no mech infantry.

Turn 53. Axis. August 29, 1941. The Western Front. End of Turn.

1. All quite and that's the way I like it at this point.
2. Just noticed a tactical mistake I made that impacts the Battle of the Atlantic.
3. I forget to move the German u-boat in Bordeaux out to sea. [:@]

Turn 53. Axis. August 29, 1941. Battle of the Atlantic (3/3).

1. The two Italian subs also combined to sink an RN DD which attacked da Vinci during the allied turn.
2. A bit of payback I think from the Italians to the Brits.

1. Athens finally falls and the Greek campaign finally comes to an end.
2. Though, Crete will not be axis.
3. On the upside, lots of axis units are now available for redeployment to other fronts (i.e., mostly to Eastern where they're desperately needed).

Turn 53. Axis. August 29, 1941. The Eastern Front. End of Turn.

1. More ground troops needed!
2. To answer that call Germany built and infantry and mech corps with all the bells as whistles (i.e., max research levels available).
3. The infantry corps cost 232 MPPs and the mech corps 387 MPPs.
4. It's expensive building, running, reinforcing and upgrading an army!
