Help! I got Tracker working some months ago, but forgot how. Below you can see the loading error I'm having, can anyone tell what I'm doing wrong?

I think you have an extra space after "Files" in Program Files.

I've gotten it to load now, but when I try to load the turn I get what you see below. "tracker test Jap" is the correct name for the save game, but I've only saved the first turn. I don't know where these June to August 42 turns are coming from. If I've got it pointed at the wrong save game, how do I correct that?

Old database. Delete the database by deleting the trackerdb files (usually four of them).

Thanks, I'll do that. Won't be able to get to it for some hours. Knowing me, I'll have more problems.[:(]

Tracker Supplies display accurate?

Can somebody provide an answer as to why the 3 supply amounts are different? All are screenshots of the same day in both Tracker and in my game. I've been using the TotalSupplies column to keep track of how my supply situation is, but I notice that the amount is different both from the WITP Chart tab as well as the in-game information.

What gives?

Image

Edit: for that matter, the numbers for Fuel are also off.

Resources and Oil differ by 1 from the in-game numbers...

Edit2: Ah, it looks like the in-game numbers mirror the base supply levels while Tracker includes TFs and fuel in tanks. I still don't understand the discrepancy on the Supply numbers though (the only thing that "matches" is the in-game display of base supply with the BSupply in the Global tab screenshot, which is only 20 off).

Total supply includes supply in LCUs and loaded on TFs.

Not sure why the base total is off by 20.

Right, and all those on that screen add up (3104549 + 191088 + 231355 = 3526992). But what's up with the 3.291 million on the chart? Why is it different from that on the Global tab as well as from the in-game display?

It can't be Base + LCU, because according to tracker that's 3.295 million, not 3.291...unless there's some sort of queer error in there somewhere?

I just want to know which number to trust. I suspect the global number is pretty accurate, I just want to know why the others are different in case it isn't the accurate one.

I tried to make the chart similar to the in-game numbers. The global table is the most accurate and I believe our numbers are better than the in-game numbers (base+TF+lcu) I could check AKE's at port etc, but that would be minor. The only thing we can't see is the supply sloshing between bases during transfers. But I think that it ends up at a base at the end of the phase anyway.

I'll have another check, but there will always be discrepancies with calculated fields, because both the game and tracker handles it in different ways. [edit] I'll make it consistent in Tracker though...

Hi all,

Just thought I'd start using Tracker in my latest game. Being a technical nincompoop I've encountered an error early on and wondered if you could help?

I followed the instructions from the website and downloaded and installed Java and the C++redist.exe thingy but when I double click on the bat file I get the below[&:]

Hi guys,

Baffled. I clicked on the link on the tracker site to download the latest Java file. I did that and yet I can't find any Java JRE 32 bit has been installed[&:]

Ok. Made some progress. Found the exe. Copied it to my Tracker folder. Now time for the next dumbass question:

How do I: "Solution 4. Change your witptracker.bat file to point to the 32 bit Java executable (you need the quotes because of the space) - this varies on different machines so you'll need to check the path: "?

If I right click on the bat file I see no option to do this.....

Currently not compatible with Java 7. If you check back a few pages in the thread, there were instructions on how to load Java 6 also.

Daily supplies by region

Where can I find figures for supplies produced daily for a given region?

There is Industry > Supply&Fuel > Supply Prod tab, but the figure there seems to be for regional LI and HI working at maximum capacity with adequate fuel and resources. There are several locations in China which often fail to produce supplies due to lack of fuel or resources ( Kunming, Chunking and Chengtu come to mind). Is there any way to track such figures in Tracker?

Now that you've had a little time to enjoy the first AE patch, Damian and I are proud (relieved?) to annouce Release 1.0 of WitPTracker AE.

The web site to get it from is here: http://sites.google.com/site/witptracker. The documentation is quite sketchy right now, but we will flesh it out soon.

We adapted the "classic" WitPTracker to work with the AE save file format, added critical things that were new for AE, but we still have a long way to go.

If you have problems and/or suggestions, post them to this thread or send e-mail to witptracker@gmail.com.

Enjoy!

Floyd and Damian

Hello Floyd and Damian,

Thank you guys for all your time and efforts here. Good job.

My installation is throwing an error:

C:\Games\Matrix Games\WitPTracker>java -Xms384m -Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"

Try changing the first line in the WitPTracker.bat to:

C:\Games\Matrix Games\WitPTracker>java -Xms384m -Xmx1024m -jar "WitPTracker.jar" nomap

The error message says out of heap space and I think that will correct it for some more turns.

That got her running. If I run out of heap again, is there something else I can do?

Thanks.[&o]

I'm somewhat baffled over the maths behind engine production. In the example shown I'm producing 332 Ha-32 engines a month and using 234 a month yet the overall trend in pool numbers is falling? This is not an isolated case I've found that to get the engine pool to show a rising trend you need to produce at lease 1/3 more engines than are being used? I know there will be some variation in the pool depending upon which a/c are being produced for any given day but the trend should still be up if you produce more than you use.
