Some news the last months on this issue.

USS Roosevelt DDG-80 (Arleigh Burke Flight IIA) has replaced in Rota USS Carney DDG-64 (Flight I), and as the other BMD destroyers  there deployed, has replaced her aft Phalanx mount with a SeaRAM missile mount (at least from March 2020), but not mentioned this time in any news report. But you can see here clearly the SeaRAM mount, Apparently is the first Flight IIA with a SeaRAM mount:

https://news.usni.org/2020/03/23/uss-ro ... t-to-spain

https://www.navy.mil/view_imagex.asp?id=316851&t=1

Another three DDGs have or are scheduled to have SeaRAM installed besides the original Rota four. From the FY20 budget papers:

“ Installations include the Rota DDG SeaRAM installs on DDGs 51,64,71,75,78,79,80 and 84”

From here, in the comments:

https://news.usni.org/2020/03/23/uss-ro ... t-to-spain

And also 5"/62 Mk45 Mod 4 replacing the previous 5"/54 gun (see the flat panels new turret).

Some major rumormongering (supported by reliable leakers and public RFP on China's military procurement sites) going around in the Chinese internet. Potentially, there is already a new follow on class to the Type 075 LHD planned: The Type 076, which interestingly is designed to become an EMALS equipped drone-carrier/CVL in addition to retaining its well-deck. A summary of all known information here:

Video from Iranian "Great Prophet" wargames:

Probably the most interesting thing which they showed was launch of missiles which were buried under ground.

Big news on the EX program. Seems to be really expanding:

https://www.airforcemag.com/f-15ex-coul ... usaf-says/

"Boeing posits a “rough order of magnitude” purchase of 200 airplanes, but the “most probable quantity” would be 144 fighters."

If I recall, the numbers were around 12 last year. I guess that never really made sense.

Interesting as much for the revelation that until now there were not enough to arm all the types capable of using it?

R-77-1 ever confuse.
A tip from the article: active radar range 16.2 nm/30 Km (also in my personal notes the first 2009 batch of R-77-1 for Su-35S was of only 30 missile! And IOC 2016).

Perhaps the longest link by character count I have ever seen. I am not clicking on it for sure. Probably fine. But why risk it? Maybe there is another way to the article?

I think 300 is over the entire duration of the order which may include this story as well.

Lasr order was placed on 26th August 2015 for VKS. Based on crude maths from Indian Navy order I got a figure of about 300 from extrapolating what they paid for 40 R-77? Appreciate that that it's a far more complex arrangement than like for like prices in any military contract.

A bit more on the familiar theme. But the following is interesting:

"King said the Navy and Marine Corps will continue to deploy amphibious ready groups with Marine expeditionary units embarked as a “force of presence, not a force to take into high-end combat.”"

Right out of the possibilities in the Fiery Cross Reef, 2021 scenario, DF-26s and DF-21Ds. Apparently one of each was launched...

Greek newspaper Parapolitika reports that Greece will be getting 18 Rafale fighters.

The report says a preliminary agreement for the acquisition has been reached. Ten of these fighters will be the F3-R variant built from scratch while the other 8 jets will be second-hand aircraft that will be transferred free to Greece from the French Air Force.
