I spent an hour or so revamping the messages graphics. They're a bit 'Starfleet' but much better than what we had before. All messages will now appear on these 'PADDS'.

This is a damn fine touch! Great mood set up! Think possibly Saturday release?

Thanks all, I'd better point out, I didn't make the PADD graphic, just found it on google. I changed the text on it and put in the little 'Galactic News' logo.

Did you apply INDIVIDUAL values to each of these characters?
I intend to do that with my Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Mod, but... I think you MUST have more characters than I do... [8D]

I've got 243 character images now, and that might be the final number for the first release.

Some of those 243, however, are generic images of a character for that race. For example generic romulan_spy.png, generic fed_admiral.png.

So the total number of characters is.....

Actually I don't know. Roughly 1000.[:)]

EDIT: Did a quick estimate. Over 1200 anyway. [:)]

I just got the musical soundtrack to Yesterday's Enterprise...
It would be a cool fit to a mod or two of yours...

I am surprised how much I enjoy the music.

Yeah I've heard that TJ. It was quite good for post season 3.

All the music I've compiled for the mod is from the first 3 seasons of TNG. It's all by Ron Jones, who was let go by the producers when they wanted him to create more background ambient music. From what I understand, he refused and was subsiquently fired. Dennis McArthy, his replacement did some fine work, but I and many other Trek fans, felt that Jones was the best man for the job. He now does the music for Family Guy.

I'm not sure if I'll add more music from other composers. I like the music to flow and it can be kind of jarring to put 2 different styles that don't compliment one another. Of course, it's very easy to add your own music.

And no need to change it; just shooting the breeze and suggesting a couple of things... [:)]

Please keep the suggestions and ideas coming guys. I know I can be stubborn and set in my ways, but it's always fun to discuss.

Romulan Ale is not exactly tasty... here on Coruscant, they call Romulan Ale 'Midnight at the OutHouse.' [:D][;)][:'(]
