Unpleasant surprise - Infantry Corps and 2 divisions are encircled.

Isolated units were destroyed (9k - inf div and tank brig) and 4 more were surrounded.

Saper keeps applying pressure. River Don was crossed near Rostov and I won't be able to push him back or contain advancing panzers.

I am surprised by German mobility once again. My positions are outflanked so another withdrawal will be necessary.

Extremely successful counter-attacks near Moscow.

Nice defense of Moscow. Meanwhile Stalingrad beckons. Will Saper be able to resist?

and you are using your corps to chew up his mobile forces at an impressive rate which he can't sustain - and that's without knowing what he's losing in his turn.

Since Saper abandoned concept of attacking with all panzers in one place I can counter-attack without compromising my defenses.

I think Saper will not push towards Stalingrad. Readjustments will be necessary.

Another prove of my stupidity.

Losing Novorossiysk cut off sea contact with Sevastopol (I forgot about port rules) and doomed my troops in Crimea - 9 infantry division plus 1 tank brigade - 84k soldiers.

Bad, bad, bad ...

arg, it's realy time for mud.[X(] i realy hope you can hold moscow. i would say that's the difference between a lost game and a russian offensive in the next year. after all there are around 160 manpower centers around moscow.

I abandoned upper Don bulge plus stretched front in Tambov area to reinforced my lines further south.

Near Rostov I managed to reestablish contact with encircled units. Crucial factor was air-base providing air-head supply to my encircled divisions.

I am waiting.

Amphibious assault on Novorossiysk was obviously unsuccessful.

The Finnish attack is just what you want. They be worthless after 4 to 6 turns of combat.

You Moscow defences look good. GHC can take it IF they set up 1 infantry army the right way, but if they don't I beleive you can hold it for now.

The south is the key, I like how you have stuff set-up and are sucking him into the deep south. GHC just plain cant hold a front that long.

Game is still up for grabs.
