Yesterday started with another bombardment of Kavieng (he's been doing that nearly every day for a couple of weeks) but this time he ran into a minefield. Instead of bombarding they automatically switched to mine sweeping. At the same time a force of mine was arriving in Rabaul to do likewise. He must have seen us coming as he had his airforce there set to attack ships. Doesn't look like they had trained for that much. Finally another port attack at Soerbaja just in case I missed anything before.

I want to give some tips to the players out there. I still have a lot to learn about WitP-AE but I've been wargaming for 40 years.

1. If you are giving the orders for the complete denouement of your opponent (tomorrow), have Beethoven's Lenore Overture #1 playing in the background.

2. Having achieved that, when planning the mop-up, have the Lenore Overture #3 playing in the background.

3. If you are planning a general offensive that will inevitably lead to the complete anihilation of your opponent, play Liszt's Les Preludes.

I will report later on what you should play if you're a pathetic loser.

Chickenboy, do not take liberties here.

If you're a loser (hold the pathetic part) play Runaway Horses by Phillip Glass because if you still have a scrap of self respect it will rejuvenate you.

If you're a peacenik coming to this forum trying to stop the war or in any other way make peace, The Mission by Ennio Morricone is your cup of tea. It will make you feel smarter than everyone else. Gabriel's oboe will do.

If you're a flutterbrain and can't deal with the complexity of this game, listen to Miranda by Michael Nyman, it's right up your alley.

If you've been defeated, but wish to seem heroic somehow still, Forest Murmurs or Siegfried's Funeral March may suffice.

If you've had a few brewskis, and just want to dance (from your perspective) play One Time One Night by Los Lobos.

Some Cajun shrimp wouldn't hurt.

If you're prone to be sucked into the minutia of this game, Bolero by Ravel may be your ticket.

If you're just looking for porn, but were misdirected here, anything from Wagner's Tannheuser will do.
