Naxx invasion of Tefnyl 2. The reason there are so many Imperial troops on the ground here is because it was recently taken from the Naxx.

Things have taken a definite turn for the worst on Volkhan Prime 2.

Ending stages of attempted Naxx landing on Snaila- but the fight overhead is still fairly lively.

With the defeat at Volkhan Prime 2, and with losses to mining stations mounting and a growing inability to mount ground attacks and/or provide reinforcements where needed (due to mounting losses of battle transports)it is decided to take a break from the fighting yet again.

Which is accepted.

The Empire's immediate post-war diplomatic situation.

The Imperial economy: at the beginning of this round of war, there were 22 of each mining station, 24 small space ports and 122 defense bases. Once again there will be more redesign of ships and bases and another rethink of defense doctrine and offensive strategy. The Empire is at least making ground slowly in recovering lost colonies, but there is still room for improvement.

There are nearly two hundred defense bases being constructed or upgraded; all existing shipyards are being upgraded; two defense bases are being constructed around existing mining stations for added protection; hundreds of warships still need to be refitted; planetary garrisons are being expanded on all Imperial worlds. All of this will take a little bit of time. I want to point out that in the planned conquest of the Galaxy (heh)not every colony the Empire takes will be so heavily defended- not at all! [:-] The current war is to retake all of the original Zenox colonies from the Naxxilians; the actual plan now is to wait until the Core Axis (hopefully) takes those colonies from the Naxx, and then the Empire will go to war against the Core to regain those colonies- all of this in order to prevent a two-front war. There is also a surprise move in store, once preparations are completed. But looking forward, the only non-Zenox colonies that will be heavily defended will be those deemed important enough to spend a lot of credits defending, and there are a few of those out there.

The Empire has obtained current operational details of the Naxxilian Char Dilba Authority which has aided greatly in military planning. It is apparent that the Char Dilba war with the Core Axis has completely consumed the Naxilian's attention. The first several shots show the current Naxx defenses at the colonies that the Empire is most keen to recover quickly. All shots are from 29 January 2430.

Dalasteni 2. Some fleet presence, again small garrison.

Volkan Prime 2. This is the location of the last Imperial attack during the last round of fighting, which was a bad defeat for the Empire. It is believed that this explains the larger ground garrison; that and that the Core have been observed fighting here frequently since the last battle.

Sapilla Minor 2. Again, small fleet and garrison present.

Jasulon 4- minimal presence.
