Stay one additional round. And then abort if that is still an option.

USSR fired AA in the south redusing 2 points
I have to do all air combat again. 3 US 1 size planes were not able to land back to carriers and were destroyed. I have no idea what happened.
I also ask if USSR is allowed to call blitz table in this attack as ARM HQ is attacking cross river.

Yes. I am not aware that river affects who gets to pick combat table. Just the number of ARM, or MECH decide (and anti-tank).
